Many ATMPs are under development worldwide. Yet there are still significant challenges that complicate the process of delivering an ATMP to the patient. Some challenges require a coordinated, international approach. Other challenges can be tackled by yourself, but requires an early anticipation and a good planning. In this topic, Ingrid Maes discusses the different challenges, both for ATMPs in general and during the product life cycle. She then zooms in on the importance of collaborations, both multi-disciplinary and with different stakeholders, to find solutions to these challenges.
